My name is Soren Valtrex. For the past 9 years I have focused on rewriting old PHP systems from versions 5.6–7.2 to 8.1–8.3 while preserving all business logic. I specialize in transitioning from procedural code to Composer, PSR standards, typing, and modern patterns. What motivates me most is seeing a 15-year-old monolith run stably on PHP 8.2/8.3 with zero critical bugs after migration.

Professional Background

Started with PHP in 2014. From 2019 specialized in legacy migrations at a large outsourcing company; since 2024 work as an independent consultant. Successfully migrated 40+ projects: e-commerce platforms, banking CRMs, fintech APIs, and high-load SaaS systems.

Why I Created These Courses
